I believe in love the verb, not the noun. If love is a noun, it’s up to you to make it work. It’s not like the dictionary is out there waiting for you to apply for it. You go out there and make it happen.
You have to get up every day and do your part. There are no guarantees that you will get what you want or that your love will be returned in kind. It’s definitely possible that you could lose everything.
But you can’t give up, because no one else will do the work for you. You have to keep pushing forward until you get your way or until someone opens their hearts enough to let you in.
